And if there’s one thing that’s really annoying, it’s people who assume ‘horses are for rich people’ and ‘riding a horse isn’t work.’ Olympic level training in any sport costs a lot of money, and there are plenty of people who aren’t rich and still ride, even if they can’t afford to get to that level. And, having ridden for six years, I dare anyone who has not ridden before to ride a horse at all three gaits for an hour and come away with legs that aren’t sore!
