    What swen said.^^

I like Avatar ... and pretty much anything by Studio Ghibli. xP

  1.

I have only watched one Studio Ghibli film, but I’m aware of the genius.

I must say, though, the film adaptation of Howl’s Moving Castle is rather…

  2.

I liked Avatar for what it was.

  3.

I don’t really watch anime, but I liked Welcome to the NHK. It had a similar feel to a webcomic, only animated.

  4.

Well, I’m rewatching the first season of Spectacular Spider-Man. So far, it’s a great adaptation of the webslinger. And considering that the guy who made Gargoyles is doing the show, I couldn’t expect any less.

  5.

I love the shit out of Spectacular Spider-Man. I made my brother watch it when he was home for the weekend, and now he loves the shit out of it two. Season 2 is even better, probably, although I don’t think it’s aired in the US yet.

SSM is really good, considering it’s a kids show.

  6.

Yeah, the age ghetto only applies if the people making it allow it to apply.

I started watching Batman: The Animated Series the other day… I likes it so far. Except I hate Catwoman’s voice, it’s too deep.

Mark Hamill’s Joker laugh is very good, though.

I watched a thing on Youtube that was nothing but his Joker laugh… shudder It was very, very, very disturbing.

I think I like the deranged, constantly-laughing Joker better than the murdering psychopath who happens to look like a clown one.

  7.

Batman TAS kicked so much ass. I still remember seeing the premier when I was a lad. IIRC the series kicked off with Man-Bat, and I had a sweet Man-Bat toy.

  8.

And for anyone who cares, FUNimation’s showing the anime adaptation of The Count of Monte Cristo, titled Gankutsuou, for free.

I’m planning on starting on it sometime this week, since it’s gotten great reviews and it’ll be interesting to see how the book will be interpreted.

  9.

I think I finished the first episode of it. The art style was fascinating—they use this strange pattern thing; it’s mentioned on its trope page—, but it also gave me a headache.

    Pixar is wonderful.
My favorite movies are Up and Finding Nemo.
