One of the most significant reasons is my pretentiousness need to clarify. I mean, there’s a South America as well, but they aren’t referred to as “Americans.” Canadians are called Canadians.

Have you seen the Miss Teen South Carolina video? While the rest of her ‘speech’ was idiotic, she reminded me of this thing and I’ve started using that term since I watched the video again.

Tl;dr version: I’m an idiot.

I vote that all of the American Imps have a convention on their side of the pond, and the English Imps have a convention on the other side, with a webcam feed from each convention projected onto a giant screen at the other.
