or whatever morning drink you like.
Personally, I like tea much better. Generally healthier for you, and is a lot more subtle and not overwhelming. However I do completely enjoy the smell of coffee beans and ground coffee. ‘Tis amazing.
Tea. Of course. :D
But coffee does have its uses, and it is nice, but if I want to drink twenty cups a day, it would be of tea.
Tea, but coffee wins the smell test.
I found a green tea with acai berries in it.. [drools with delight]
edit: Tea smells nice too, but coffee is so overwhelmingly good.

I also prefer tea, but I enjoy the aroma of tea and coffee.
I don’t like coffee at all. Even if I pour loads of sugar and milk in it, I find its taste bitter.
Agreed.
Yay, someone who doesn’t think me insane for saying that!
Ugh, I’ve never been able to stand coffee. Also, when I do drink tea, its in a large mug over a larger period of time, and is always enjoyable throughout.
Aw, but coffee’s got a wonderfully rich flavour. Far more intense than tea, which I find to be thoroughly beautiful.
Meh. I never acquired the taste.
I love tea, though the smell of coffee is amazing. :D
If I have to be awake immediately I make coffee. Black. If I have time for a six pot of tea I’ll do that and drink several cups over an hour or so. Cream and one lump of sugar. :)
I don’t have problems getting up. A cold shower will shock me into alertness much quicker, and it cleans me on the side.
I used to be just like that…keep bragging… ;)
Huh?
So do you prefer bagged tea or loose leaf?
Never had loose leaf. Any better?
I see. Well won’t it steep forever though?
Ah.. ok. See, my tea handling skill are all self-taught.
Jeni where are you.
Virgil needs a lesson in tea! We’ll bake crumpets and make it a party. ^^
/my secret shame
I don’t know everything about tea, just that I like it hot and steeped for only a few minutes.
Jeni will be sure to show you the magic of tea with milk. You’ll never be the same again.
Milk eh? I normally don’t like milk by itself.. tea eh?
I like coffee. I’m trying to get used to tea because it’s better for you.
If my water main wasn’t shut down, I might go get some tea right now. >:(
Lulz.
I need lots of sugar either way. :D
I can go with about two or three teaspoons.
I don’t count. I just dump it until I’m satisfied. :D
There you go. :D
I’m going to need dentures by the time I’m thirty, but it’ll be worth it.

This pretty much sums up how much sugar I consume daily.
Tea, but coffee smells goooooooooood.
Actually, anything coffee flavored is delicious. Just not coffee or expresso… ick.
On a slightly relevant tangent, whiskey smells lovely and looks lovely, but tastes like rubbing alcohol. Bleurgh.
Really? I’ve always hated the smell of alcohol.
b.q. but coffee smells goooooooooood.
Indeed. I think I’m addicted to the smell of coffee. I’ve only had it thrice in my life though (once as a five-year-old :O), and I don’t really like it.
I find tea much better (milk, ground tea and some secret ingredients), though to be honest I don’t have much of it either. I don’t really use anything at all to really wake me up. Guess I’m just weird =/
I usually prefer to drink orange juice in the morning, but sometimes I will have coffee instead, always black.
Tea all the way.
“Result being that I did not know I could talk that fast. Maaaaan…”
LOL @ epic win.
I can just imagine a little mongoose hyped up on coffee. XD
Ok, so, not-so-funny story, one time I was driving back from Uni and I was tired, man, I was tired. So I called in at a petrol station and bought (and drank) a double shot of espresso. (I needed the caffeine without the “AH! NEED TO PEE!” an hour or so later).
How the freak does anyone drink that stuff on a regular basis? That’s insane. I would never drink an espresso (let alone a double one) for everyday.

Ooooooh, that sounds delightful! I’ll bring the jam and clotted cream and scones.
I don’t have much milk in my tea, barely a drop, just to take off the usual tannin aftertaste, but I’ll gladly drink a black tea over a too milky one.
I was on a green tea kick, and probably will again be when I move out, but a friend that Loves China A Whole Gosh Darn Lot told me that they dry out their tea leaves by leaving them behind lorries exhaust pipes. :/ So, yeah, he told me to go for Taiwan tea, if I could.
White tea is equally delicious. And way better for you. :D
Iced tea for the win.
I disliked ice tea until I went to Tucson. It’s all they drink. So I learnt to like it.
What is the American equivalent to clotted cream? Cottage cheese? Sour cream? Cream cheese?
Chai! So tea I guess.
Clotted cream = cream cheese. (I think)
I’m drinking tea right now!!!
Clotted cream = cream cheese. (I think)
Heavens no.
Clotted cream is thick cream made from unpasturised milk, and according to wikipedia: “then leaving it in shallow pans for several hours. During this time, the cream content rises to the surface and forms clots.” It has this slightly-hardened surface layer, that breaks deliciously, and you spread it on your scone and then add jam.
Heaven.
I had a small amount of milk with my tea. It was great, it smoothed out the taste and kept the tea flavor in there.
Because the Cornish have name protected it.
It’s like a different country down thar.
Clotted cream is hard to find, but delicious.
Ooh, if we’re having a proper tea, I’ll bake some homemade eclairs and cream puffs :)
Ooh, and raspberry tarts!
We don’t have clotted cream. ;_; You have no idea what a tizzy that threw me into after reading Lord of the Rings. CLOTTED CREAM WHYYYY.

...cackles madly
MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Hrm. I will send you some if you’re still on a green tea kick? :D
I’ll bring the scones!

Hmm, sounds relatively simple to make. Must find a recipe.
Oops! Sorry Jeni, I think I was thinking of something else. ;)
