While Serenity was cool I’d rather not consider it canon because of what happens.. rather just pick up where the show left off.

I just watched Serenity (the pilot), too, and…

Well, I’ve sort of been in a sci-fi mood lately, but I really don’t like most of it… except Doctor Who and Star Wars. But this.... this was amazing! I am, of course, going to watch all the episodes in the proper order (not whatever screwed up order Fox showed them in), and… yeah. It was awesome!

So, during the long wait for season 6 of Lost in January, I have nothing to watch. Is this show good?

Incidentally, at my theater place we were talking about people who talk during our shows, and I said “There is a special circle in hell they keep for child molesters and people who talk at the theater.” I’m officially a geek.

Heh, that was a funny episode. I loved at the end how Shepherd Book was like “How special“, with a significant glare in Mal’s direction.

River: “We’ll have to call it early quantum state phenomenon. Only way to fit 5000 species of mammal on the same boat.” (rips out page)

The look he has in his eyes when he says that is so priceless.

She was making out and stuff with the dopiest guy ever when Mal found her. Then in Heart of Gold, she says all that stuff about wondering whether she should have sex with some of the guy whores because nobody else is giving her any. Other than that, she is adorable, but… well. Okay, I didn’t lose all respect for her. That was a slight exaggeration on my part. But I did lose some.

Lol, I was talking with a guy who likes Firefly too, and he said for the longest time, he thought they were called the Gorram Reavers lol.

Yeah, Willow pretty much summed up her whole engines thing and why she picked the guy.

I need to re-watch Heart of Gold, but I think that comment about the guy whores is more aimed at getting Simon’s attention than any actually desire to go after one of the whores.

Inara, well, I like her, but she’s definitely got a darker side at times, although it’s only hinted at. [See the WMG theories on TvTropes for a little more dissection of her past]
