Les Mis = one of the best musicals of all times. LOVE IT! Sorry, had to say that. ;)
Everyone’s a Little Bit Racist from the Avenue Q soundtrack
Pumaman’s Theme, by Renato Serio
Brave New World by Jeff Wayne
Special from the Avenue Q soundtrack
Sorry, double post, but I love this song, so:
Soldier’s Poem by Muse
Run to the Hills by Iron Maiden!
I have to check them out if they’re as good as you say, SWQ.
Doing it for the Kill by La Roux. Ick.
Iron Maiden? Yeah, they’re awesome, from what I’ve heard so far. I don’t have much of their music yet, but I watched Flight 666 with my sister, and it was awesome. So now I have to go out and listen to all their songs.
Iron Maiden is the shit.
In a good way or a bad way?
Alexander the Great by Iron Maiden. Getting a mini-history lesson here.
Exo-Politics by Muse
In a very, very good way.
Fear of the Dark, by Iron Maiden.
Zero Wing Rhapsody, by TooMuchSpareTime
As Above
Like A Boss, The Lonely Island.
@ Devin- I was listening to Fear of the Dark earlier. Pretty cool.
Farther Away by Evanescence
End of All Hope by Nightwish
Why? I like ‘Going Under’. It’s the only Evanescence song I can sing somewhat decently, so I have a soft spot for it.
(And I like End of All Hope. :D)
The Curse of Feanor by Blind Guardian. Again.
End Of All Hope is an intense song. It’s too bad they cannot play it live anymore. :(
The Wrong Side, by Abney Park
As much as Over The Hills And Far Away?
I would say more so, especially because Over The Hills and Far Away is a cover. Planet Hell is the most intense.
I like 7 Days to the Wolves…
Powerslave by Iron Maiden.
I like Passion of the Opera, especially with the little opera bit at the end, which is awesome!
I love this website. I don’t know anyone IRL who listens to the same music as me.
Ghost Opera, by Kamelot.
My sister does. :D
Number of the Beast covered by Dream Theater. I guess if I chose anyone to cover Iron Maiden it would be DT, but I didn’t like how James LaBrie squeezed in the third 6 in ’6…6…the Number of the Beast!’. ’6…66’ just doesn’t sound as good! Otherwise, DT did a pretty good job so far!
Have you read the book? I couldn’t get through it. I want to see the musical though.
Haunted by Evanescence. Spooky harmonies make me happy. :D
Haunted = awesome song.
Weight of the World by Evanescence
Feast for the Vain by Kamelot
Cloud Nine by Evanescence
Chapter 4 by Avenged Sevenfold
Yellow by Coldplay
Pennyroyal Tea by Nirvana
The Man Who Sold The World by David Bowie. From the Reality Tour.
The Eldar by Blind Guardian
Do you guys prefer studio versions of songs or live versions?
Ballad of Serenity—Sonny Rhodes
A Change of Seasons by Dream Theater
High Lonesome, by The Gaslight Anthem
I almost always prefer live versions, but acoustic versions are my favorite. :)
I almost always prefer live versions, but acoustic versions are my favorite. :)
Same here. ;P
Yes by Coldplay
Dead to the World by Nightwish
Tell Her Tonight by Franz Ferdinand
Outsiders by Franz Ferdinand
Down in a Hole by Alice in Chains
Heaven’s A Lie, by Lacuna Coil
Dirge for November by Opeth
@ Devin- do you like Lacuna Coil? They have some good songs (like Heaven’s a Lie and Swamped. I also really like Falling Again) but I don’t think Cristina Scabbia’s voice is extraordinary.
I don’t know them very well, Heaven’s a Lie just came up on my Nightwish-based Pandora station. The only song of theirs that I really like is Closer.
Make A Sound, by Autopilot Off
Watch That Man, David Bowie
Real Thing by Alice in Chains
Closer is not really a typical LC song…more poppy. But perhaps they’re going in a more poppy direction. I don’t know.
Swamped, by Lacuna Coil
Okay, I had never heard this one before, so I take it back. I think I like this one more than Closer. xD
Yes, I like Swamped better too. ;D
Hitchin’ a Ride by Green Day
Hitch a Ride, by Boston
Stay Away by Nirvana
Scars by Elegeion
Drowning Pool Bodies by CKY
Within Me by Lacuna Coil
Space Dementia by Muse
Unknown Song by Evanescence
Il en Manque Toi by… someone…
All That I’m Living For (live acoustic) by Evanescence.
This version is so much better than the one on the album
Newborn by Muse
Beyond Time, by Apocalyptica
Master of Puppets by Metallica
Solitude by Evanescence
The Beatles are great.
So true!
Screenager by Muse
Dance of Fate by Epica
(and singing along)
Newborn by Muse.
SWQ, I always sing along. ;)
Well, usually I can’t because other people are in the house. But I had the house to myself for a bit, so I took advantage of it.
Hey You by Pink Floyd
When Sorrow Sang by Blind Guardian.
Jump, by Van Halen. Also Panama.
Long Live The Queen, by Frank Turner. Totally addicted to this song right now.
Space Dementia by Muse.
Akk, I need to learn the piano part!
Cemetary Gates by Pantera
And now Benighted by Opeth, which is a totally awesome and beautiful song!

Desire by U2
colour haze – CO2
I checked out the song SWQ, very pretty. ^^
Plug in Baby by Muse
YES! Someone checked out a song recommendation! I view that as a personal victory. :D
Something in the Way by Nirvana
End Of All Hope, and it’s a disturbing combination of Nightwish, Dragonforce, and Alvin and the Chipmunks

Citizen Erased by Muse
Serve the Servants by Nirvana
Newborn by Muse
Waking the Fallen by Avenged Sevenfold
Bliss by Muse
Our Solemn Hour, by Within Temptation
Nightfall by Blind Guardian
high five
God Willing, by the Dropkick Murphys.
Yay, a band from Boston! returns high five
A Rare Moment by Elegeion
Elegia, by New Order
Revelations- Iron Maiden
(I always want to say relevations instead…)
Under Pressure—Queen
Artas – A Song of Ice and Fire, because of the name.
...not actually a very good song, though.
The 4th Branch – Immortal Technique
Taylor Swift songs. Like Twilight characters, there’s only two or so I really like. The rest are crap.
Cowboys from Hell by Pantera
(From Twilight, I happen to like Jacob (until SM messed him up), Jasper, and Alice. But that’s about it)
Deku Palace from Majora’s Mask
