Continued from last time, basically.
Los Angeles by The Firebird Band.
My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend by Her Space Holiday.
Holy Calamity by Handsome Boy Modeling School.
Anything and everything I can find on Grooveshark that’s by Basshunter
More by Peaches
Yay, Basshunter is indeed good.
If Looks Could Kill by Camera Obscura.
I still listen to my Baldur’s Gate II soundtrack. <_<
Armistace by Phoenix.
I love this album so much.
Blue by Eiffel 65
She’s Not Shy by Irving.
So Far From Home by Jazzanova.
Hahaha, I just got back from a piano recital (yes, I played in it… but I’m not that great at piano. I’m a vaguely better singer, though). So halfway through this lovely duet called En Bateau, I all of a sudden realized it was by… dun dun, Debussy! Wow, I didn’t know he wrote anything other than Claire de Lune… at least judging by Twilight obsessives!
We actually had a thread in the last forum for appreciating Debussy’s other contributions to music. Not that Claire de Lune isn’t a beautiful peace of music, but come on people, he’s composed lots of stuff.
Cinderella by The Bloodsugars
I think I’ve heard of 10% of these songs. Probably 75% of the artists. Interesting. Pandora tends to give me such a small slice of a band’s work.
Given Up by Linkin Park. Something about pissed off songs makes me happy.
Smooth, Corazon Espinado, Into the Night. Santana is amazing.
I’m also a pretty big fan of Guns n’ Roses (Sweet Child o’ Mine, Paradise City, Welcome to the Jungle) and Aerosmith (in general).
Listen in high quality for best effect.
Flying Battery Zone act 1 / 2 Sonic and Knuckles.
Determination Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2. Especially epic.
Seymour Battle Theme Final Fantasy X.
True Heroes Viewtiful Joe 2.
Palermo Temple Rune Factory 2.
Trieste Forest Rune Factory 2.
Daily Work: Part 2 Rune Factory 2.
Enough music spam for now.
Does having a song stuck in your head count as listening to it? If so, I’m listening to Caramelldansen… I never can quite tell if I love or hate this song.
Various songs made entirely with the Scout’s “BONK“s from TF2… also a random clip with the Combine Advisor Caramelldansen. It was disturbing.
The awesomeness that is Ice Cap Zone Act 1
Take Five by the Dave Brubeck Quartet.
Bruises by Chairlift.
Franz Ferdinand is great. Although their latest album was pretty disappointing. Oh well, such is life. My favorite song of theirs is probably Auf Ausche.
Perfect Fit by The Clues.
They seem all right. I don’t listen to them much though.
Fire Eye’d Boy by Broken Social Scene.
Joss Whedon. :P
Modern World by Wolf Parade.
Dita Dimone by Pop Levi.
3 Ways to Epica by Kamelot
XTRABEATS #405 from WOXY... These are such good mixtapes. <_<
Wait by Death Cab for Cutie.
Life Being What It Is by Kaki King.
The Boy Who Wanted To Be A Real Puppet by Sonata Arctica.
So Far From Home by Jazzanova.
Keep Falling by Jazzanova.
Run by Snow Patrol.
Distractions by Zero 7.
White Diamonds by Friendly Fires.
Hazel by Junior Boys.
A fabulatastically awesome remix of the Tal Tal Heights theme.
Aerodynamic by Daft Punk. I should quit listening to them. <_<
I listen to much better techno than Daft Punk, I swear!
But for now, it’s classical time. Chopin Fantasie in F minor.
Aw, I love the Nutcracker. I was totally obsessed with it when I was a little kid. These days my favorite song from it is Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, because I think the glass armonica is a very beautiful sounding instrument.
The Nutcracker’s AWESOME. Other than that, though, I don’t listen to much but Bach or Beethoven. And I haven’t in a long time. I should; it’s such great background music when you want something while you’re studying. If Mozart really makes you smarter, I should try that!
If Mozart really makes you smarter, I should try that!
Classic confusion of correlation and causation caused this myth. Well educated parents are more likely to listen to Mozart, and more likely to raise smart kids. They’d still raise smart kids if they were listening to Nirvana, I suspect.
Lol fair enough. I did wonder about that, because it seems very odd that a certain arrangement of musical notes would make you smarter than some other arrangement of notes. Also that one guy would be able to compose like a million pieces that all made you smarter, much less compose one tune, or even one bar! Still, I just assumed it was one of those things.
Music Takes Me Up by Mr. Scruff. <- This guy is great.
