    It’s a 6,875-word short story I just completed tonight. It’s set in predynastic Egypt around 4000 BC and is a sort of coming-of-age story about a twelve-year-old boy who has just undergone his initiatory circumcision into manhood. I’ve already sent it to a professional author named Charles R. Saunders for review (yes, he agreed to review it for me). I hope to get it published someday when it’s polished.

    I feel like I’ve accomplished the greatest thing in my life. WOOT!

    Mr. Saunders has finally responded to me! He said the story was very good and had only one small suggestion for a change that I will make when I get home.
