    My senior year this year. Not actually much looking forward to it. Am mostly terrified out of my mind.

    I enjoyed my last two years in high school more than I enjoyed college in its entirety. I miss football ;_;

    Sophomore year sucks because the novelty of high school and freshmanism is gone but you aren’t an upperclassman yet. That and I did all my shitty classes that year.

  31.

    Shitty classes are…?

    Yeah, I’m taking World History, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus AB, and choir. I wanted to take AP European History also, but with choir I didn’t have space. But I can tell that regular history is going to be a bit of a snore even though the teacher is good- there were kids who couldn’t locate the Nile or the Amazon rivers. o.O

    Even though I love world history, I’m glad I took choir instead. It’s a bright spot in my day full of academic stuff, and it’s all girls, which is fun.

    I don’t know, it feels awkward for me. I just don’t know what to say. Through email, I generally get the idea out better. Texting, however, takes forever, and it’s just annoying.

    I liked Speech class quite a bit, but my favorite moment in it was when I delivered a speech about Twilight and why it sucked. I got to ramble for around 8 minutes, and it was one of the Top 3 moments of my Sophomore year. Some of the girls in the class looked like they were gonna kill me.

    I had a bunch of friends that were in total love with Twilight, and they were great book lovers and good writers. When I pointed out to them that Ed was creepifying and Bella is an empty shell, among other things they kinda uncomfortably accepted it..

    Then I had the idiot friends who’s girlfriends wanted their skin to be cold and sharpen their teeth..

  38.

    I think that has been my crappiest year too.

    Ironic, I remember my sophmore year as being the best year of high school.

    Freshman year was my worst year by far. I was like a walking stick of dynamite with a lit fuse, all year, prone to exploding at any moment. But I blame that on my asshole classmates, cause I was so much more relaxed Sophomore year at a different school.
  39.

    I really disliked my speech teacher, but for some inexplicable reason she liked me, so I pretty much just screwed around. I liked that part, and it was a good way to get to know people in the class since I’d just moved, but the class itself was beyond tedious.

    Did you have better classes back in MA?

  45.

    I never went to high school there, so I don’t really know. Apparently Algebra 2 is a heck of a lot harder there than it is here. They have a seperate class for trig, rather than just jumping from Algebra 2, with some skimpy knowledge of trig, to calculus.
