How about in someplace where people actually drink coffee a lot, like the urban midwest, pacific northwest, or urban east coast?

Also pretty much constant pretentious indie music is in order. Sly can help with that.

Indianapolis doesn’t seem particularly urban relative to me. XD Like Chicago or Minneapolis, I meant. Indianapolis is cute and all, but…

Put it in Chicago, because my half-sister lives there and she’s awesome.

It should have free Wi-Fi, but I guess that that’s a given.

    Music must-haves:

    Angus & Julia Stone
    Ben Folds
    Ben’s Brother
    Coldplay
    Idlewild
    Keane
    Missy Higgins
    Muse
    Pete Murray
    Starsailor
    Sting
    Tom McRae

Not that I’ve thought about this. Much. At all.

No. He’s more mainstream than the Jonas Brothers.

RT3, you're one of those indies who refuse to like Coldplay? ;) If it's good, I'll listen to it. And I happen to be hooked on their latest album.

    How about:

    Art of Fighting
    Bearsuit
    Brooke Fraser
    Cedar Room
    Josh Arnold
    Muzzel
    Nerina Pallot
    Ray Beadle
    Tripod
    The Sundays

too? They're good coffee house music. :D

And hell yeah, Sting. The Police are one of The Greats. Of course Sting is a dick, but doesn't stop me liking his music.

I just don’t like the music. It’s not because they’re popular. It’s like with Snow Patrol – I like their old stuff and dislike their new stuff, not because they “sold out” but because I like their old sound better. shrug
