So I’m basing a story in London. Yeah, yeah, it’s cliched somewhat, but the story is based off of TS Eliot’s poems (the ones about cats, and the hollow men), and he moved there from America, so it will probably start in the New England region of the US and end up in Islington, Chelsea, the West End, and the countryside.

Now, I have been on the glorious and illustrious Wiki about the city and read it, as well as some articles on Cockney Rhyming Slang and a bit on the layout of towns of the English variety. I am not, however, feeling like I know the city. I want the story to feel like it couldn’t have taken place anywhere else, and I was wondering if anyone here had ever lived there.
