    First there was IMDb, where the anti-shurtugals came (I think Gaia was also a place, but I never went there). Then there was livejournal. Much fun and snark was had. Then there was Anti-Shurtugal Forums. Which split into Dog-Eared Forums and Uru’Baen Forums. And then there was Magic Sword Forums, which turned into Deus Ex Machina Forums. From that came II. And then there was carrotstick.

    I lurked around on IMBb back when Shinwolf and Hackslayer were beating back all the fans. ^^ I was wee babby back then. What was it, three years ago? Or something? And when ASF was made, Jeni was TEH FIRST (or maybe just the most memorable?) person to welcome me. ^^

    EDIT: And now DEM is unaccessible to me. Makes me sad. At least I can keep up with y'all here. :D
