That sweet spot between sneakers and running shoes. I like them the best.
I lurv boots. Unfortunately I don’t wear any. So I stick to Rocket Dogs, mostly, and flipflops in the summertime. I also have a thing for heels… I have bright pink and bright orange ones, and I wear them with jeans. It’s awesome.
I hate heels. They’re pretty, but so uncomfortable and I can’t walk in them.
I like boots, though I don’t have any nice ones, and ballet flats. I also wear sneakers and flipflops.
I prefer skater shoes, because they’re comfy. Mainly Etnies and Circa.
But, I must say that my favorites are my cowboy boots. Bought them at Lammles, and they’re great to have around the farm. And while riding, of course.
Basketball shoes, usually. My rules are as follows:
1. Must be Nike
2. Must have a relatively minimalist design, none of this busy mesh crisscross nonsense.
3. May be a combination of black, white, and one other color(preferably red).
HEEEELS! And boots. I wear sneakers when I absolutely HAVE TO, but other than that, boots.
Proper walking sandals. But, if it’s winter (sigh), it has to be trainers or hiking shoes.
I like pretty shoes, but not for everyday. :D
Trainers, all the time.
Flip-flops, which are thick enough that wearing them for months has made foot-shaped depressions in them.
I wear my Sperrys pretty much every day. Every once in a while I’ll wear flip-flops.
Footwear is pretty overrated in my opinion. My shoes tend to be light and un-obtrusive, except for currently where I have these big clunky shoes. Ugh. Anyway, I like being able to feel the ground as I walk over it. :P
Well, once my friend was walking barefoot and she stepped on a bee, so…it’s not quite as appealing as it used to be.
Yeah I stepped on a stinging catepillar at my seventh birthday party. Not a barefoot fan.
I learned to watch where I was stepping at a very young age. First it was just watching out for Lego bricks inside the house. Later it was walking around when I was living in Taipei—there is dog shit absolutely everywhere.
You’d think I’d learn, after stepping on a (hidden in grass) ceramic pipe and cutting my foot with my uber!scar that I will probably have forever.
But nope.
I love going barefoot. 8D
@Sly: hahah, I just walked over stones to toughen my feet up. That way I didn’t have to pay attention much.
Oh, Sly. The poop is good for your skin.
>.<
Oh God.
Tying in the Perv thread and this one:
Recently, my work had a private function: a Diva Party.
Now, I know what you’re thinking: “BEYONCE!”
But no.
More like…
“Let’s get any girl 18 or older in here, get a lingerie service, some make-up people, and a photographer.”
The girls working in the bar were wearing corsets and MASSIVE heels.
To the male’s dismay, “All Chicks, No Dicks” and the lounge workers wore jackets when grabbing food :(
girly squee
You are a girl? o_O
Until proven with pictures. PICTURES, DAMN YOU.
I prefer going barefoot. For other times I have these Blowfish boots that are probably the most comfortable things I’ve ever put my feet in. And sometimes I wear these shoes that I’m pretty sure were originally intended for dancing but they’re the only things flexible and comfy enough for me.
EDIT: Look! I found my boots! They have buttons on them. <3
Niiice. These are mine:
Sexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxy.
Seconded.
Ooh, thanks. ;)
Your English teacher has good taste.
Thanks to her, I’m now known as ‘the girl with sexy boots’ throughout school. Yay.
Actually, I don’t mind it so much; it’s given me a chance to work on my sexy grin ;)
A grin, blowing a kiss…
