SAQT: could you link us to that review?

Son of a bitch. Usually I find it hilarious when old books get terrible new covers but this isn’t even slightly funny, this is just stupid and pointless.

Though somehow it’s fitting. Heathcliff and Catherine are a little like Edward and Bella, no?

Except Charlotte Bronte actually recognized how bad their relationship was.

    Yeah, true.^^

I didn’t think Kitty even existed…thought she was a free-magic elemental bound by runes inscribed by Abhorsen Sly the IV….

what, no one else jumped to that conclusion?

Oops, that was supposed to be edited. I don't know why it double-posted.

As for the link, that was pulled from the Guardian article.

    tickles Kitteh Hai :D

With all due respect, I don’t think that referring to Twilight in order to advertise Wuthering Heights won’t do any good. If someone picked up Wuthering Heights just because of the Twilight references – if they are that far – their soul is pretty much doomed.

In that case, HarperTeen is Satan.

In that case, HarperTeen is Satan.

You say this like you’re surprised.

    What’s HarperTeen?

I hadn’t heard of it until now. But I suppose it’s a subdivision of HarperCollins, like the other ones.

    Oh, okay.
