I was introduced to it by the daughter of one of my college profs… at knitting club…. we were bashing Twilight and she showed me the EWWT articles. The rest is history.

  1.

Ooh, I searched up “Brisingr Spoilers.” My sister was hogging the book and refused to tell me what happened, so I went to the internet. and found II. Ta-da!

In a very short timeframe, an acquaintance on a different site mentioned/linked II and I came across it through StumbleUpon. Feeling confident that I was clearly being drawn to the place by a higher power, I started reading more articles and realized I liked it very, very much.

  2.

I actually found ImpishIdea twice. The first time was shortly after Anti-Shur’tugal removed the Epistles, which were, in my opinion, the best Eragon critique articles on the web. I found them here, and thought the website had potential, and I vowed to keep an eye on it in the future. A couple of weeks later (at least I think it was a couple weeks, not too clear) ImpishIdea began putting up Twilight articles. This was the first I had heard of Twilight being a bad book (a few friends said it was great and I myself had never read it), so I looked for more information, and found ImpishIdea again. I was a lurker for a very long time, and began posting a little while before the temporary switch to anonymous posting.

I bounced over here from Anti-Shur’tugal (can’t remember how I found them, though). I added both sites to my favorites list (i.e. the sites I check almost daily), got hooked on the EWWs, and the rest is history. I did eventually remove Ant-Shur’tugal after a while (I blame the incredably irregular updates).

    Googled brisingr review.

  3.

I was on another forum (I left quite a while ago), and the admin was a member of my favorite LiveJournal community (I have left LiveJournal as well). She had a link to the Anti-Shur’tugal LiveJournal in her profile, I got to the main Anti-Shur’tugal site from there, and I ended up at ImpishIdea when someone mentioned it in the comments section. It was still fairly new.

Back when I’d barely heard of Twilight, I was linked here by both Anti-Shurtugal and Eragon Sporkings. It was a fun place, so I stayed.

I was living in the basement when ImpishIdea took over the castle I was squatting in. [shakes fist]

  4.
I've been trying to remember, and I'm pretty sure I typed "everything wrong with Twilight" into Google, and one the EWW articles came up.
  5.

I Googled Brisingr spoilers. I use something called Inquisitor, which fills in your sentences for you. So, it filled in “Brisingr Eragon psychopath” or something like that, and I thought that was intriguing, so I found the Epistles. The Epistles were removed, so I looked up “Eragon bashing” or something like that, and I found II.

However, I like my alternate story, in which I was sucked into a vortex and my spaceship crashed as a result of the nitrogen atmosphere.

I either found it through Anti-Shurtugal or a search for an anti-Eragon article.
