@Kyllorac, what kind of philosophy are you guys studying?

It seems I’ve just been offered a summer internship opportunity. Now is a really bad time to have to write up a resume, though, because I have a jillion other things going on. :-/

The typical, boring Western branch which I am already quite well-acquainted with. I wanted to study Eastern, but Western is a prereq. D:

I really want to say this: I am over the person with which I was infatuated.

No, I’m not socially inept enough for something to actually have happened and they weren’t mean or something. It worked out somehow.

Yay! I had an awesome night last night- hung out with friends, had a pillow fight, practiced pouting (I suck at it. I can manage puppy dog eyes, but not pouting, apparently), played with a nerf gun, watched both Peter Pan and Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and got a magnificent backrub. Life is good.

Ooh, that’s a good one. Hook was brilliant.

Oh, that one. I found the whole romance thing between Peter and Wendy to be kind of annoying, but yeah, Hook was pretty great.

We have probably about a foot of snow here, and there was a MASSIVE snowball fight on the quad last night. I fell in with a group of random guys (I knew a few of them), and we were actually using battle tactics (Form ranks! Left face! CHAAAARGE!). We yelled every time we charged, and you know the first thing we yelled? Suggested by this big jock, to my surprise and delight, we yelled “FOR NARNIAAAAAAAAA!”. We also did “THIS! IS! SPARTAAAAAAAAAAAA!” at one point. It was so, so worth the numbness, stiffness, and mild pain. We even had a little battle going, one of the frats formed up as well, so we attacked each other. They pulled off a diversion, then a charge. I was on the right flank. We held our ground.

But classes for today didn’t get cancelled. Dangit.

    And it’s still snowing :D

It is. The movie “The Seeker” is completely different from “Legend of the Seeker”.

But it still makes so much more sense than the book, and I’ve watched too much now to stop.

Ditto. Though the premier of Season 1 had me alternating between tears of laughter and agony. It was so cheesy in places, and the acting was so wooden in others… It didn’t help that I had to keep pausing and rewinding because a particular someone in my family would not shut up.

I miss some of my smilies, I do. >.<

  22.

Have you ever had a moment when you produced created something that was unbelievably brilliant (see ending)?

I was practising piano when I started to play these three notes together, and then adding some pieces onto it, replaying and editing, and somehow… I was playing the most awesome improvisational piece. It was glorious.

cough All right, it probably wasn’t that good, but it felt like it. And my sister’s compliments seemed to help.
