What’s this about? Is it good? Should I be ashamed that I’ve never heard of it before?

Also, I think you messed up the textile thing.

  2.

    Fixed.

And yes, it’s great. It’s set in a futuristic society, and it manages to deal well with themes while remaining highly entertaining.

Plus it’s free and it works on Kindle too.

I don’t know! I thought they might be like post codes, but I was never sure!
Thanks for confirming that I filled out all those online things correctly.

  5.

    That’s what I’m here for.

  6.

You enjoyed it? I found them to be rather dull and the characters to be rather oblivious. The whole plot was predictable! Meh, didn’t like it.

  7.

I already have Uglies, so yeah.

I’ve been looking for Peeps ever since I found out that it was a “new take on vampires” book, why does it have to be Uglies? D:

Midnighters series was a bit of a guilty pleasure but Uglies didn’t appeal to me at all, I didn’t bother finishing it after the first hundred pages or so.

  8.

I hated the ending of Midnighters, for some reason. It was very sad.

    @SWQ

I loved the ending. Then again, I’m a sucker for tragedy/various sad things in books so it’s not very surprising. (probably explains why I like ASOIaF so much)

  9.

Well, I’m not saying I hate tragedy. I loved The Silmarillion, for example, and it’s not really a basket of kittens and rainbows. But I don’t know…maybe I didn’t hate it, but it wasn’t very satisfying.

  10.

I found a loophole for the end of Midnighters (and promise me you won’t steal it because I’m going to write a fic on it):

    Hidden for possible spoilers.

  13.

God, I don’t remember anything from Midnighters except the ending…I faintly remember that there’s a guy named Jonathan and he’s Jessica’s love interest, I think, but beyond that, it’s all fuzzy.

  14.

I read it last week lol.

Actually, I always was wondering that about Midnighters myself- it just seems like there’s far too many loopholes.

  15.

I was going to do an article to post on my blog about how Midnighters works, but I wasn’t sure if anyone would be interested. It certainly wouldn’t belong on II.

Midnighters was badass. I didn’t like the ending, though. It seemed like a big slap in the face with the gargantuan spider’s big, floppy spinneret.

I have that at my school library. It’s awesome. The sequel isn’t as good, though.

    No, it’s anathema.

When are they going to put up the second book? Argh!

  21.

The second Uglies book? If yes, then I doubt that will ever go up legally (well, around now.). This was a promotional offer or advertisement or something of the sort.

    P. S. Thank you, Steph.

    Thanks, hmyd.windmere

  23.

    You’re welcome.

Now, I wonder if anyone I know would enjoy this. What better use of a promotional than to promote the work?

  24.

Just post it everywhere you can. That way somebody will find it.
