MSc in Information and Knowledge Management. There was a library course I was interested in, but you have to have a years work experience in a library.

And you have to have the MSc to get a job in a library.

    ...

Law school! Excellent! Watch out, though, Sly will bully you into being II’s resident solicitor. XD

You’re a Brit, aren’t you? Americans almost never use the word solicitor.

    ....

Yeah, law school… it doesn’t make me too nervous, seeing how many halfwits with sleazy ads have passed the bar (not to mention multiple members of Congress…)

I’m currently going through the university application process, hoping to study English Literature.

Well, it's also interesting to note that my degree is a four-year degree, and the curriculum is so strict that if you fail one of the papers you have to retake that entire year's papers. (They let some people off for D+, but slim chance)

So it ends up becoming a five-year degree for most people, anyway. Pfeh.
  6.

I’m not in college yet, but I want to all the way to Ph.D. I have lofty goals.

Eh, in college. Its fun, sooo fun. Majoring in Art, will probably be at the community college for a few years.

Just got $5,000 in grants for the 08/09 year… which is almost enough to cover my entire degree… :DDDDD

Oh man, I’m so looking forward to September, the department seems awesome.

I got the suggested reading list, to give myself a grounding in knowledge management, today and they put a small description and how relevant it is underneath the title.

My favourite: “A popular management book of the type found in airport bookshops that introduces KM to the interested layperson.”

    Oh my. How…. succinct.

  8.

I’m officially done with undergrad on Saturday, and I’ll be damned if I go to grad school. I spent far too much time in college already just to go to it some more.

  9.

@Virgil – jealous. I wanted to go to an art school. Either that or forestry, like my dad. But parents said “yeah, sure, pick whichever school you want, it is your decision. Unless it is art or forestry.” So I went for Law which is where I am currently stuck and it made my parents ecstatic.

My degree was vague and directionless, my postgrad is precise and is required for the field I want to go in.
