^^Oooooh I love that one. I was just listening to Dvorak’s Waltz no. 1 in a minor. It’s really pretty.

Has anyone ever heard "Bennie and the Jets"?
  12.

    @ Dan
You cannot mean that! Take it back! Back, I say! Bennie! Bennie! Bennie! Etc.
I fell head over heels for the screeching when the radio guy said it was by Elton John.

  14.

I HATE BENNIE AND THE JETS. SERIOUSLY, IT’S RETARDED. THE FALSETTO, THE DATED SYNTHESIZERS, THE DISTORTED SINGING – I HATE ALL OF IT. NOW LEAVE ME ALONE.

Then again, I listen to Polish Atari 800 chiptunes, so my musical tastes are somewhat unorthodox.

  16.

Another Me in Lack’ech by Epica

Never quite figured out where exactly Lack’ech is or if it’s even a real place.

  17.

    Rand, yes in 27 dresses… ;)

Sex on Fire by the Kings of Leon

  18.

I’m On A Blimp by Little Kuriboh

That was incredible. Spookily enough, I was humming I’m On A Boat earlier today and thought to myself that a blimp would be a great vehicle for a parody-song.

And now, back to I’m Going Slightly Mad, Queen.

  19.

    Wildfire by Sonata Arctica

  21.

    Sleep by Kimya Dawson

  22.

Mm, I’ve heard Sonata Arctica is good. Where should I start with them?

The Siren by Nightwish (live version from End of an Era, because I can’t find the album version. It’s basically the same, but still…)

I’d start with Reckoning Night. It has the highest number of songs I like compared to other albums, like My Selene, Wildfire, Ain’t Your Fairytale, The Boy Who Wanted To Be A Real Puppet, Don’t Say A Word and that other one whose name I’ve forgotten.

    Fight With Seymour from FF10.

  23.

    Money by Pink Floyd

    @Moldorm- I’ll look into it!

  29.

@ Devin- I LOVE Nightfall in Middle Earth!!! (Sorry, got a little bit overenthusiastic. This isn’t the first time. We saw a guy coming out of Verizon with a NiME shirt and me and my sister totally freaked out. In a good way. Because we’d just been listening to ‘Thorn’.) I have the whole album on my iTunes library. Have you read the Silmarillion? It’s so much better if you know what the songs are talking about.

    Lithium by Evanescence

  30.

SWQ, I know what you mean, I love this album too. :) ‘When Sorrow Sang’ and ‘Nightfall’ are two of my very favorite songs. I sort of read the Silmarillion a while ago, but I was nine and did not understand it at all. I am familiar with the story presented in the Silmarillion though, so I can make sense of most of the songs after reading the lyrics.

    The Winter Wake, by Elvenking.

  32.

@ Inspector- you live in Boston! I used to live there! I miss it sometimes.

@ Devin- Those are two of my favorites too, actually. (I’m so proud of myself- my brother used to hate this album and now he loves it! I love converting people to the music I like. XD)
