    Undisclosed Desires by Muse.

Just got The Resistance yesterday (after much temptation to pirate it) and I don’t think it’s as bad as some people have made it out to be.

  3.

Meh, I think it’s possibly their worst album, but I like some of the songs on the album. Actually, it’s more like I dislike a few with a burning passion. (Undisclosed Desires and Guiding Light)

Wandering Child/Bravo Monsieur from Phantom of the Opera

  4.

Bought Powerslave (Iron Maiden), A Change of Seasons (Dream Theater), British Steel (Judas Priest), Best of Black Sabbath (Black Sabbath), Dark Side of the Moon (Pink Floyd) and some album by Rise Against from India.

    Mwahaha, lots of new music!

If you like awesome orchestral epic music, get a torrent client and go find Pro Scores. Its on a free license, and all I can say is awesome. Its mostly small clips of really good material you can combine do to amazing stuff with.

Like uTorrent. That should work best. Then go to Isohunt.com and search ‘pro scores’ and its should be like the 4gb one.

Is it not on YouTube? Because seriously, that is the extent of my musical search abilities.

EDIT: Listening to the LotR Soundtrack, again, and even the lyrics are good! This is the lyrics from the song that plays when Gandalf comforts Theoden about his son dying:
    He taught him to ride
    To wield a sword
    To stand strong
And show his enemy no fear
    Now he must learn
    The hard truth
That he had brought his boy
    From childhood
So that he might face his death like a man
The enemy was always with them
The enemy did not care about fear.

That part of the movie always got me, and now it’s going to get me even more knowing what the choir’s singing in the background.

Darn you awesome concept albums. I love The Dear Hunter’s Act II but it’s eighty minutes long and it’s not the same if I listen to random songs as opposed to listening to the complete album.

On that note, The Pimp and the Priest by The Dear Hunter, one of their songs that sounds pretty good by itself.

The video is… weird. I do like her red outfit near the end, it looks kinda neat. Her massive gold outfit in the middle is ugly and creeptastic. The very ending is… well, ew. Weirdly, the least weird she looks in the whole video is the close ups with her crying, in which she looks like a normal sad woman.

I have a minor problem here.

My best friend and I, we wanna play practical joke involving haunting/scary music. I’m the musician between us.

The problem? I’m deaf, and I have no idea what haunting/scary music is suppose to sound like.

    Please help me out here.

  23.

    Um, you need haunting/scary music?

For what instrument, if I may ask? I would try finding sheet music for Nightmare Before Christmas- that has rather eerie music, if not really outright scary.

Is it just me or Nightmare Before Christmas is actually several songs?

And Toccata and Fugue, isn’t it for guitar? (Yes, I can attempt to play on guitar settings, just wondering that’s all.)

  25.

Ok, it was Bach. I just wasn’t sure about the composer. Actually, I’m listening to classical right now, so as soon as this Chopin Scherzo is over, I will look that up. The key of D Minor is beautiful.

Anyway, No One, Nightmare Before Christmas is a movie. I just recommended the soundtrack as a whole.
