    Oops.

    Will go back and change.

  2.

Nah, just claim you were talking about the movie.

The movie, as good as it was, faltered heavily when it deviated from the text - Ents deciding to let Saruman go until they find he's cut into Fangorn, upon which the Ents CONVERGE OUT OF FANGORN FOREST IN LESS THAN A MINUTE AND MARCH ON ISENGARD. So much for the democratic process. Elves show up at Helm's Deep for mystifying reasons given that they're all embroiled fighting against the forces of Dol Guldur, Elrond, the heir to the throne of Gil-Galad, rides through enemy territory to bring Aragorn the Sword of Elendil with no escort, rather than, you know, having it reforged while he's at Rivendell...

Oh please, everyone knows nothing happens in places where the PCs aren’t, unless of course you need the PCs to go somewhere else. All NPCs just sit around waiting for things to happen where the PCs are. Don’t you know anything?

(sorry, I read all 665 pages of OOTS today and I’m in gaming mode)

Elrond, the heir to the throne of Gil-Galad, rides through enemy territory to bring Aragorn the Sword of Elendil with no escort, rather than, you know, having it reforged while he’s at Rivendell…

    This has been explained.

The Ents make me use language of a harsh sort >:|

“Last march of the Ents” my ass…

Yeah, that is pretty much the most apt explanation. DMOTR is pretty freaking awesome, in other news. Actually, that entire site is bloody awesome.
  3.

    Why, I like the Ents!

  4.

THE ENTS ARE FREAKING AWESOME! OK, I’m done now. ;)

  5.

The Ents have always been my favorite.

  6.

Not one Ent died in that movie. Not. ONE.

Saruman had, like, flamethrowers and Sh*t, and the best they could do was lock him in the tower. It was a fight, not the curbstomp battle that was shown :(

Actually, no, it was a curbstomp battle. If I recall correctly, only one ent died during the Last March of the Ents.
