Well, he just gave an excellent run down of what a bad character Edward is. And this guy would know better than anyone, since he was to act the role.

It’s funny because Bella’s character is legitimately like this.

Personally, i also think Twilight franchise is the worst thing that came out. I mean, who would say openly those cheesy dialogues [Bella & Edward] they say to each other in real life. For me, I think the twilight story is like a story that was made by a ‘high’ person. xD

Though, Not sure if he really hates it… or just trying to get more fans/viewers. Since, I think it’s a bit effective if that’s the case.

To make a long story short, Pattinson may have been under orders to “underplay” the role. Actors are at the mercy of their directors.
Or as a drama teacher once expressed it to me, “Live theater is an actor’ art. Film making is a director’s art.”
